Awesome, Easy, No-Bean Crock Pot Chili
I’ve made this recipe twice to rave reviews…chili isn’t my favorite food, but this tasted great! I modified the recipe on the back of the McCormick Original Chili Seasoning Mix 1.25 oz packet. One of my dinner guests said it had just the right kick to it!
Serves 6 hungry adults.
Ingredients
2 pounds ground chuck
1 – 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Salt & Pepper
1 28 ounce can Hunt’s Petite Diced Tomatoes
2 packets (1.25 ounce each) McCormick Original Chili Seasoning Mix 1.25 oz
Toppings
Sour cream
Grated Cheese
Instructions
Heat the oil in a skilletand cook the ground chuck until done, adding salt and pepper to taste. Drain most of the fat, but not all.
Place the meat in a crock pot(slow cooker), and add the tomatoes and chili seasoning packets. Stir thoroughly, adding a little water until you like the consistency.
Set the crock poton High for 4 – 6 hours. Serve when ready and top with sour cream and grated cheese. Yum!
