About Caroline in Her Own Words

I usually work in 1:12 (one inch) scale but occasionally take commissions in 1:24 scale. From birthday cakes with tiny candles, to French pastries, to pizza and sushi – everything is made with passion and much attention to detail.

I never use commercial molds or buy pre-made canes, so you can be guaranteed of something very original.  I do accept commissions.

I made my first miniatures when I was 9 years old and would sell them in the school playground. My miniatures earned me three scholarships to the Sunningwell School of Art where I did three years of extra curricular study from the ages of 9-13.

Today I work in the art department of film and also do illustration. I’ve built miniature scale model sets for films and music videos. Most notable of these was the miniature set of Hogsmead village for Harry Potter 5.  I run my two shops and sell miniatures by commission to serious collectors whilst juggling my career in the film industry.  I just moved from Hollywood, CA to Turville– From the Hummingbird Miniatures Blog Site
