Thankful For Fall
I love this time of year…not too hot, not too cold, and no humidity! (It gets pretty hot and humid here in Alabama during the summer.) It’s a great day for yard work yesterday. I noticed it was about time to rake the pine needles – we like to wait until the last one has fallen for the season! We have 18 mature pines in our back yard, and friends always ask us if they can come gather some for their garden. Of course we say yes…and if they rake the pine needles up themselves, even better!
I’m missing my pottery wheel again. One day it will be time to get back to my clay…right now I’m happy doing kids’ crafts! Above is a treasury of pottery for the Autumn season, my way of living vicariously, I suppose.
