Cotton Ridge Create! is now on Flickr!

I just discovered Flickr last month; I know, where have I been?  I signed up for a “Pro” account today ($24.95 per year for unlimited uploading and more), and started uploading photos.  In  looking around Flickr I found that I could create Galleries of photos from all over the site!  This is great way to collect photos for research.

I’m planning to teach a class in April on how to build and finish a miniature shop using the Houseworks Bay Window Shop.  I often look at photos of full-size and miniature items before making my own, just to get ideas.  I don’t copy, but it’s a great way to brainstorm for ideas on how to make something realistic and unique.  My prototype for the workshop may be a bakery, so I searched on Flickr for both full-size and miniature bakeries and shops.  Here are the links to the Galleries of the great images I found:

As I work on the prototype for my class, I’ll be sharing photos and tips in the Cotton Ridge Create! Tutorial Archive  And of course, I’ll upload the photos to Flickr!
